  They didn't listen, just threw painkillers and other drugs at me. Needed a hand X-ray, but after waiting about 2 hours, was told that it was too late for an X-ray, and that I had to come back because my injury wasn't serious enough. Way to make someone feel undervalued. They say their values are: Caring – We are responsive to and care for our community, our patients, their families, carers, and staff Nope. Did not feel this in any way. Excellence – We continually strive to deliver efficient, innovative and evidence-based healthcare Nope. How can you deliver evidence-based health care when you can't even get the evidence? Respect – We believe that positive outcomes are achieved through trust and mutual understanding Nope. Complete fail in this area. There was no understanding, as that would have required them to listen to me. Integrity – We are open and ethical in all our actions I can't assess them on this one - they took no actions apart from offer drugs. Fairness – We promote equality and fair access that is sensitive to individual needs 100% nope! Other patients were able to get X-rays whilst I was waiting to be seen, but apparently I was just seen too late. That is the antithesis of equality. And as far as sensitivity to individual needs, this individual's hand is still extremely sensitive, but did not get the treatment it needs.
